Flávia Correia  was born in São Luís MA,Brazil in a family of musicians. She started to study piano at the age of eight at Music School of Maranhão and In 2011 she graduated in Music at "Universidade Federal do Maranhão". Flávia also studied drums, sang in choirs and participated in many concerts as a soloist.

 

In 1993, she sang in Children's Choir in Arthur Azevedo Theater in São Luís with the famous sopranos Aprile Millo and Montserrat Caballé. In 1996, she debuted as a professional actress, playing a leading role in the musical called "O sonho de Catirina". Definitely a girl with many talents! She has also received a training in ballet, folk dance and latin dances.

 

 In 2008 - 2010 years Flávia had a great experience as soloist-soprano in "Madrigal Santa Cecília". In july 2010 She sang at the International Festival of Choirs in Italy and Vatican. 

 

In 2011 she has moved to Poland. She sang in the choir of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Bialystok where she performed in "Straszny Dwór" Opera by StanisÅ‚aw Moniuszko, Korczak Musical by Chris Williams, The Phantom of the opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber, La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi and many symphonic concerts. Also as chorister she recorded two CD's with Krzysztof Penderecki's music: Symphony No.7 Seven Gates of Jerusalem and Symphony No.8 "Lieder Der Verganglichkeit".

 

In August,2014,she graduated in Musical Theatre program 4 weeks by New York Film Academy,campus NY.

 

Currently she is working at International Brazilian Opera Company-IBOC- New York.

Also she sang with great companies in the city like Prelude to Performance-Martina Arroyo and Distinguished Concerts International New York, where she performed at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.

 

 

 

Flávia Correia urodziÅ‚a siÄ™ w rodzinie o tradycjach muzycznych w Sao Luis (Brazylia) i w wieku oÅ›miu lat rozpoczęła naukÄ™ gry na fortepianie w Szkole Muzycznej w Maranhao. Jako studentka uczyÅ‚a siÄ™ równoczeÅ›nie gry na perkusji, Å›piewu i uczestniczyÅ‚a jako solistka w wielu koncertach. W 2011, uzyskaÅ‚a dyplom magistra sztuki na "Universidade Federal do Maranhão".

 

W 1993, wspóÅ‚pracowaÅ‚a z chórem dzieciÄ™cym w teatrze 'Arthur Azevedo Theater' w Sao Luis u boku sÅ‚ynnych sopranistek Aprile Millo oraz Montserrat Caballe. W 1996 roku debiutowaÅ‚a jako profesjonalna aktorka, grajÄ…c pierwszoplanowÄ… rolÄ™ w musicalu "O Sonho de Catirina". Definitywnie dziewczyna o wielu talentach! UczÄ™szczaÅ‚a na kursy taÅ„ców folkowych, taÅ„ców latynoskich oraz baletu.

 

W latach 2008-2010, artystka wystÄ™powaÅ‚a jako solistka w chórze "Madrigal Santa Cecilia", z którym wystÄ…piÅ‚a miedzy innymi na "VI Festival Internazionale di Musica Corale" we WÅ‚oszech i Watykanie.

 

W 2011przeprowadziÅ‚a siÄ™ do Polski, gdzie znalazÅ‚a zatrudnienie w Chórze Opery i Filharmonii Podlaskiej w BiaÅ‚ymstoku. Jako chórzystka wystÄ…piÅ‚a w Operze "Straszny Dwór" (StanisÅ‚awa Moniuszki), 'La Traviata' (Giuseppe Verdi), w musicalu "Korczak" (Chrisa Williamsa) i wielu symfonicznych koncertach. NagraÅ‚a również dwie plyty CD z muzykÄ… Krzysztofa Pendereckiego : Symfonie Nr. 7 "Siedem Bram Jerozolimy" oraz Symfonie Nr. 8 "Lieder Der Verganglichkeit".
